Got a question. Filling out a form, DS-156, for my fiancées son who is 6 years old. Under question 14 about national identification number, he does not have one. For Vika's 156 we used her internal ukraine passport number. What would we use for Kirill's, if nything at all? Any help would be appreciated.

The internal passport number is the correct response for that question in Ukraine.

Alla registered the boys with the government shortly after they were born. This is to enroll them in th National health program. Everyone does it. They are issued a paper with their national ID number which will later be used for their internal passport. They are not required to carry an internal passport until age 16, but the number is issued shortly after birth. She should have that document.

I think if you jog Vika's memory she will remember this. This paper and their birth certificate is what is used later to GET an internal passport.
