I was wondering what's the time frame for Denver office between fingerprints and actual interview? Had my fingerprints done on 8/13/13 , got email today that I'm in line to be scheduled for interview. Really want to go to Russia for few weeks in middle of September. Horrified that I will miss my appointment

Nobody can predict how long it will take between your fingerprint and the interview. It depends on a lot of factors such as: the clarity of your fingerprint, how busy your local USCIS office is, if you had any problems with the law before...

Sometimes you see some people whose status changes in a week, sometimes you see people whose status changes after 2 months. It all depends on the office. You will be okay At least you got to remember naturalization process is a lot faster than ROC lol.

I think in line does not mean much... Your application date is important. They want to stick to the 5 month limit.

I submitted my form on the 29th of March, was in line for interview on 28th of May, will have the interview on the 9th of September.

Thakroz submitter her form on n the 28th of February, was in line for interview on 27th of June, and had her interview on the 27th of August.

Denver is taking longer than last year but they may have picked up speed recently. But I do not see how you can have an interview in September.

Good luck
