Administrative processing delay time after interview for K1

Is there an average time that the visa is delayed when the applicant's visa states "administrative processing" after the interview? This for a K1 (the K2's show "ready").

When was your interview? I had mine on the 30th of July. It's been on Ready status for 9 working days (13 days to be exact) and then today (Aug 12) it changed to Administrative Processing. I didn't get any 221g form from them. The American Consul told me everything's good and the lady at window 72 (last leg for the whole interview process) advised me that I should be receiving a text from 2Go once they have my visa. It's frustrating as I think we have waited long enough. I want to be with my fiance already!

My fiancee received 221(g) on 8/1 for a new NBI with AKA, and awaiting HK police clearance. New NBI was submitted via 2go 8/6. Then status was updated 8/8 (receipt of new NBI....stil in AP). We called HK last week and was informed HK clearance was sent directly to the US Embassy. Friday 8/9 was a holiday. Latest update shows 8/12 (must have received HK clearance already....stil in AP). Yeah it's getting antsy....just waiting patiently........

Both parents were interviewed August 1st. No other documents were asked from them, no 221g. We are on day 12 now and still waiting. The embassy's reply to my first e-mail was there's insufficient information. I replied back and asked what is still needed and got a respond just now that nothing is required to submit as of this time and that they will just contact my parents once the review is done. Patiently waiting here.

8 days since the interview, status is still not issued (ready and AP still since the Aug 13). Starting to piss me off, since some who interviewed on or around the same day already have their visas in hand.

Try checking CEAC now... I was approved last Aug. 08... now it says ISSUED as of 2:30pm.

Still on AP.. Hoping there will be no problem. I was planning to leave on 23rd but the tickets are getting expensive each passing day.

I spoke to someone at the embassy 8/15/13 and was told they got the NBI with AKA, but still waiting for HK clearance. So we contacted HK police by phone and email. Whoa!!!! they mailed the HK clearance on 7/30 and arrived Philippines 8/2/13. It's a registered letter. So now I am really getting concerned grrr! Emailed the embassy asking for clarification as to the status of HK clearance. They will reply in 7 working days. Weekend passed by and then typhoon closing and holiday 8/19-21. Still nothing. I'll wait Wednesday next week for an email response. Looks like we got caught up in AP black hole.

That was terrifying. Hopefully it wouldnt be more than a month. We are all getting crazzzzyyy here
