You will need I-134 for the NVC and then when you adjust status you will need I-864 when you make it to America.

Correct. That response is also verified by the Kingston embassy info:

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

For the K-1, You need I-134, and our embassy requires along with it letter from employer, 6 months of paystubs, W-2's for two years, and two years of tax returns or transcripts.

These requirements are posted on the kingston embassy website under I-134. http://kingston.usembassy.gov/fees/forms.html

Just keep in mind it is best to be over prepared then not. I went with my fiance to his interview. The CO only took my 2012 tax return, but we had the last three years tax returns with w2s, employment letter, bank letter, and pay stubs.... just in case. Remember the whole interview process is subjective, (up to the CO) so it is better to be over prepared then not.

These instructions are in the Packet 3 you receive for the I-134. Our embassy's guidelines for I-134 are very specific and different from other embassies, so please make sure as Beancamp mentioned that you have what they want. Regardless of what other embassies mention, JA looks at last year's income not current income, so you must have proof of tax returns.
