Hey guys - did anyone include reciepts of money sent to spouse overseas in your package? Would this be reflected as a negative since it could give them the idea that you're buying love?

Thanks

I have read many cases on here where people include reciepts of money transfers, wires, etc.... You're not buying love, you are helping to support your partner. Wouldn't look worse NOT sending money to help support the person you love?

I have sent my Fiance many times, its not buying love We are together in this process in order to be able to be together here and get married. The process is expensive and even though we are not married yet we are a couple already to marry as soon as they stamp that passport

Just as if you would prepare for the wedding you share the expensas of the wedding too This is part of the wedding to me .

So I sent all that making our case stronger proff of a real relationship and very much in love !!! dancin5hr.gif Dont be afraid if its real nothing to worry about !

You're not buying love...that boat sailed when you got hitched. She's already got you and everything you own, so it's a moot point. You're supporting your wife...just like any normal husband would do. I did the same thing for my wife while she was still waiting to get her visa and used that as evidence of financial co-mingling. I'm rather sure that's expected my USCIS, unless she's somehow financially well off.

Yep, I included copies of every Moneygram and Western Union money transfer. Also included copies of customs forms for every "care package" we exchanged.

Do not know whether or not they specifically looked at those pieces of evidence or not but I even sent scans of two dozen international calling cards and a purchase history for Nobel Prepaid international calling plan.

I truly believe that they are not necessarily ticking boxes on a checklist when evaluating a petitioners evidence but are closely looking for a preponderance of evidence of a bona fide relationship.

I am quite certain that if one was interested only in "buying love" that better bargains could be had in comparison to the cost of the legal immigration process anyway!

I also included receipts of WU moneygrams, but if on your next trip over you and yours create a bank account,,her account with you having access , showing proof and paperwork and account balance, and copies of wire transfers from your stateside bank to that account can not hurt
