After a long wait, we've finally got the real answers regarding our petition. We are now waiting for almost 10 months. My fiance did a letter and sent to a congressman office and a day after they told us what they've found out about our petition. But before that,we filed our petition October 2012,last year. During the next couple of months we were under on initial review more than 6 months 'til we get the RFE status as well as the hardcopy. We were calling vermont since on the 4th month of our petition. They says its coming , every agent says and always says its coming. But were still an eager to find out what's goin' on really, so we just kept calling immigration. Until on our 6th month they're still saying it's coming sooner or later. That means no exact date, it might come SOONER or LATER which I started to worry about. So i told my fiance about that and sorry to tell him that i've had that feeling our petition we're lost to somewhere or something. Or maybe one of us had some trouble on the background checks. But we complied on what we missing for. We sent the additional evidence they're looking for. So what we did was everyday calling the immigration, tellin' all the agents to make us an inquiry where each inquiry has a 60 days time frame so you're not able to do another inquiry until that time frame expires but still they did us 3 inquiries within 6 weeks. First vermont told us again its coming so we just had to wait blah blah ect.,. Second, that we dont have to worry 'coz my fiance is an active military that they usually done right away that it comes first on their objectives etc. And the third vermont told us they didnt know why it taking so long for our petition. So we're like wow, thats your job so you'll be the first one to know whats goin on with someone's petition. And then what pissed us off alot really was when they told us our petition was being prepared by a LAWYER? thats ridiculous but that not even funny to tell us that kind of reason, 'coz the fact that me and my fiance never hired any lawyer and we prepared this petition together so only us. Then again they gave us another week they told us we should get our decision within a week and at the end, were still the losers. I already told my fiance do not believe them 'coz for some uncertainty, telling us different reasons just to calm us down or make us feeling better. But no, not me nor him not us couple. So we just kept calling 'til my fiance wrote a letter that he sent at the congressman's office and a day after they found out what really happened. During our first months, VERMONT never really worked on our petition. That VERMONT only sent our files this last JULY 11 2013 for our backgorund checks. So our petition is like they lost it or something and just forgot about it. Then now again they gave us another 3 weeks. That we should get our decision that we dunno if within those weeks or less or more than those weeks. I feel like im goin' to have nervous break down knowing what they did on our petition ,on us. Plus the fact that my fiance might get an order from afhganistan. All I can do now is to hope and pray. Im feeling lost, I feel like my tears is just gonna come out in my eyes I feel that im goin's to explode anytime 'coz of theyre being unprofessionals, theyre service incompetence, rude agents. The fact that the service centers lied on us. And based on the investigation our papers were all good and its a VERMONT mistakes. Wish they know how we've been goin thru all these year and more. How we;ve been fighting for the distance , how we been fighting for our love, how we feel , its like they torturing us. I always feel like someone has ripped of my heart, giving us depression and so much stress everyday and its getting worse and worse as the day goes by.

If u guys think that your petition is good and you did and sent everything that you needed but still waiting like us, you better make some moves to find out whats goin on with your petition. Do not just be confident sitting while waiting on your decision. You'll lose nothing for doin some inquiries and theres nothing bad if you gonna keep calling immigration esp. right after they given 6months time frame for the processing time.

Actually, all the time you were calling you were speaking to customer service, not Vermont. No one has the number to speak directly to the Vermont Service Center. The answers you were given just came from customer service people and they say the same thing to everyone.

WE know about that all agents or representatives are all relying on their data base but we really did on vermont. And VERMONT were the one who told us they didnt know why it taking so long wc is really unexpected to give such an answer like that, that are petition was being prepared by a lawyer WC IS NOT TRUE they told us g-28 was filled out THATS RIDICULOUS ..!!!and theyre the one who gave us another time frame that already lapsed. And we actually kept their emails and all their answers were just non sense. Til we found out that theyve never worked on our petition during the 1st 6months after conducting a proper investigation . And now its goin on 10 months. And VERMONT were just keeping us on circles.Giving some pointless reason

And for those active in military, theres a contact no./info. directed to immigration. And do not believe that you mustve wait for another 30 days to make an inquiry 'coz you really can during that month too esp. for some case like mine. Coz we did full inquiry for about 3x.

and they told us straight that when you have seen updates on their site about the petition, that doesnt mean they currently working on it. Especially for those who just filed a petition, INITIAL REVIEW DOESNT ALWAYS MEANs that theyre already working for your backgrounds, evedences etc. LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO US DURING THE FIRST 6 MONTHS WERE ONLY ON THE ACCEPTANCE STATUS not on the INITIAL REVIEW. !!!!
