Hello to all!!! I want some adive about our case, we are filling the K-1 VISA and now I am waiting for the letter from US Embassy Manila for the appointment of my interview. Me and my fiance didnt hire an atty.We are confused about what to do about the affidavit of support and the other documents needed, I want to know if it will be fine, that her mom is living with him, but her mom has her own income and she has her insurance. His income was qualified for only 2 household size. But he wants to put 3 household size cause her mom is living with him. What should we need to do? would it be ok if we will put 3 household size and just add her moms income to make it enough for 3 household size? I told him to just send his moms ITR and her statement of her insurance. please anybody can help us..thanks a lot!!!

*** Moving from USCIS to K1 fiance vida forum ***

Unless your fiance claimed his mom as a dependant in the tax return, his household size is 2- you and him. Household size is NOT who lives in the same home with you, it is about financial relationships. Additionally, USEM rarely accepts co-sponsors, so you are much better off leaving the mom out of this.
