I sent our K1 visa packet through DLH to Lewisville from Delhi. All of the documents are there including a check for $340. I don't think they could have opened it because DHL would have scanned it as delivered before someone tore into it!

This is from DHL website:

Further Detail:

Physical access to the Receivers premises was denied to the courier at the time of attempted delivery Next Step:

Please contact DHL Customer Service to confirm arrangements for delivery

The stressful thing is that I don't know what to do now!

I don't want to sound like a smart a$$ but I suggest you contact DHL. It sounds like DHL couldn't get in to deliver it not that they refused delivery.

So, I called DHL (as per their instruction) and after we looked over everything we saw that the DHL people in Delhi didn't include attn:I-129 on the address. We've cleared it up and they will go for re-delivery. I'll let you know what happens

I had this same problem today with DHL not delivering a petition from overseas to the Lewisville office because the "recipient refused delivery." Except the address I used included the "ATTN: 1-129F" line. Perhaps there's a new deliveryman who is unfamiliar with the route? I can't think of any other possible explanation, but now I know I'm not the only one this has happened to!

Kmcbroom, was your package ultimately delivered?
