I-130 Parents January Filers (NBC)

Hi,

I've been trying to call USCIS to get some update but to no luck no approval yet.

I also requested them to transfer me to an immigration officer but the waiting time is sooooo terrible.

I could not get hold of any one on the phone. It's been more than 6 months now since I've filed my I-130 (parent)

and it's been going 2 months now since I replied to their RFE.

What is the processing time for NBC? Their website doesn't say any thing about the priority date.

Has there anyone from January filers who got approved already?

I'll appreciate your feedback.

What states are you? mine April 19,2013 my priority date.. still waiting for noa2.. NBC is my center...

hoping to get approved end of this month...

Timeline for my Mother

April 19, 2013 - submit the form I-130

April 22, 2013 - Receive the NOA1

July 29, 2013 - Approved NOA2 ( 82 working days)

July 30, 2013 - USCIS shipped my documents to NVC

Aug 5, 2013 - Arrived at NVC Building

Aug 13, 2013 - Got the NVC case # via PHONE

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

Aug 17, 2013 - Got an email to print the COVER SHEET

Aug 21, 2013 - send the AOS overnight at NVC

Aug 28, 2013 - Accept the DS-3032

Aug 30, 2013 - IV BILL pay and Documents Sent to NVC receive the checklist AOS.

September 19, 2013 Sent back the checklist

September 20, 2013 Sept 26, arrived @ NVC

Sept 30,2013 - already encode to their system

ADVANCE MEDICAL @ St. Luke - SEPTEMBER 23, 2013

CASE COMPLETE AS OF TODAY : OCTOBER 23,2013

Look in IR-5 timeline thread.

Approvals are all over the place. Some March or even filers can be approved and some December filers still waiting. The is no rhyme or reason. I got NOA-1 on March 15, still waiting. Haven't had any RFEs or anything. The only reason I know they have looked at my petition since is I filed change of address in May.

You can't reach anyone? try not to press any number and you will get to a spanish speaking representative after their spiel you tell them you don't speak spanish and state your problem. WOrrisome for me as I have filed in Feb.. As for the timeline, you can go ahead and add yours at IR-5 Timeline post.

Thank you for all of your replies.

I was able to speak to an immigration officer yesterday. However, they still could not give any answer as to what is the status of my petition. They could not also see in their record that they received the document I sent for my RFE.

The IO said, the processing time for I-130 is 6-9 months crying.gif

I am January filer too. I sent out my application Jan 17th, 2013. Got my NOA1 02/01/2013. Since then no new updates. NO luck in contacting immigration. I was told to write Missouri Service Center. I wrote them 2 weeks ago. Havent heard a thing. Keep me posted.

03/06/2014: PORT-OF-Entry=Vancouver Canada

03/31/2014: USCIS Status Address Change

04/03/2014: Applied for SS

​04/03/2014: ELIS STATUS showed OPTIMIZED right away the day we applied for SS card.

04/07/2014: Green Card Production

04/09/2014: SS Card received.

4/10/2014: ELIS and USCIS status: GREEN CARD PRODUCED/SHIPPED

4/15/2014: GC arrived in the mail (yay!)
