Hi guys...having a terrible time getting through to the US Embassy in Honduras...maybe someone on here knows. Got the packet 4 and our interview is scheduled Sept 24th in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In the checklist for required documents, number for is: Marriage certificates(s) in "forma literal". My fiancee has never been married, but I have (Us resident/petitioner). I have my certified divorce decree, but I don NOT have a copy of my original marriage certificate. Do I need a marriage cert for my first marriage if I have the divorce decree? Please help!!!

It should be a certified copy from the issuing agency. (aka from the court it was issued.)

Do not confuse certified copy with notarized copy.
