AOS

Our interview was on 6/25/13. IO said that everything looked great and that we were all set.

We received i-797 in the mail on 7/1/13 stating that the I-130 was approved and that the original visa was forwared to Department of State (DOS) National Visa Center. I (the beneficiary) am in the United States with a TPS status. My husband who is petitioning me is a US citizen.

My two questions are :

Why does it say on the letter that my original visa was forwared to the Department of State (DOS) National Visa Center ?

My I-797 notice for the I-130 approval does not have a priority date ? Its empty.

Thanks for your help

If you are filing AOS then the I-130 should be attached to the I-485 and should not go to the National VIsa Center. What is the status of your I-485?

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
