I ' ve read the uscis site an went to processing time i read there not all service center processing all petitions. And when i scroll the csc there is no spouse of usc processing time?thank u pls help me godbless

What are the first 3 letters of your receipt number?

Likely that CSC is not adjudicating your petition. As of Aug 15, 2012 both Vermont, California and the lockboxes started sending cases to the National Benefits Center. If you have a number that starts with MSC then your case went there. After that the NBC either adjudicates the case themselves or sends it out to the local office which is most likely the case. You won't find timelines for this on the USCIS website because it was supposed to be a temporary measure and that would require them to redo their entire website.

Sir steve is this for cr1 visa.cause last march 6 my husband recived the noa 1 and it says their the priority date and it is approved and processing what does this mean?thank u

noa1 does not say approved.. it sais accepted

between 1-3 months, your petition will be transferred (99.9% do) to your local office.. which is san Francisco.. yes? and I have told you how long san fran is taking..

if you want a link here it is,http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=76&charttype=1 but all it will tell you is volume.. that is the best you can get and yes your petition goes msc which is for nbc and then will get sent to sfo

got it??

I would look forward to an approval for the petition sometime towards the end of this month

after that you go to the nvc stage.. read the threads there to know what to expect

you will be at nvc for about two months, then the petition goes to the embassy. at the embassy will be the interview. upon conclusion of a successful interview a visa is granted

total time from noa1 to visa issued and getting on a plane is 7 months if you are lucky.. expect it to be 8-10

@Stevie b, looking at your profile, I see that you had a hellish experience. I don't think I can survive what you had to deal with. Just reading your experience gave me a panic attack!

all I can say is that .. it is what it is.. I was fortunate to have been well informed of other's experiences by reading threads here on vj, so I knew what I had to do

either way.. I am pretty close now thanks!

totally normal to have a case number not available when it starts with msc.. there are no fixes for this

after approval, your case will go to nvc not nbc..nbc is the same as msc
