https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do LOL i love how they updated it yesterday and stated both centres are processing at 5 months, yet CSC is already starting March Filers and VSC are still in December. Stop trying to make yourselves look good USCIS and give us an honest processing time! Who knows though, maybe now VSC transferred December and Jan filers to TSC they'll start on Feb filers etc... what a mess!

November 14th 2012: Started our relationship
February 8th 2013: He traveled to the UK and we met for the first time ♥
February 14th: He proposed (eeeeeek)
April 19th 2013: Mailed our I-129F to VSC
April 30th 2013: He shipped off from the UK to U.S Army Boot Camp for 3 and a half months (waaaaa) sad.png

August 19th 2013: NVC received packet
August 20th 2013: Case number received
August 21st 2013: Case left NVC and sent to Embassy

October 8th 2013: Medical
October 11th 2013: Received appointment letter
October 29th 2013: Interview (Approved) :DD
November 6th 2013: Visa in hand :DD ♥

I wouldn't trust a word that site says!!

next month it will be 1 year that I filed and it went through csc

VSC has processed a few February filers recently, they have posted about it in the February Filers thread. I really don't know what to think about what's going on over there. As for the processing time, I believe 5 months is their stated goal, so as long as it's less than that, the website probably won't change, and will only change to reflect times when they are taking longer than the 5 months.

Of course to say that VSC is within 5 months is pretty laughable, because as people who have watched, we know that there are at least a months worth of applications beyond that 5 month mark that are sitting in TSC (hopefully more getting approved as we speak). VSC basically just walked away from those people, but hopefully they get better treatment from this point forward.

One positive about this though is that now, anyone before January 19 at either center (I-129F petitions for K-1) can put in a service request because they are outside of the stated goals. Hopefully that will help out some of those lost in the system and feeling a bit hopeless right now

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
