Hi All,

I am just gathering some information before my parents appointment at USEM. I have read

in most cases the CO will ask questions like "What does the petitioner do for a living?" In my case as the petitioner, I have been unemployed for about three months now(my contract ended) and am still on the job market looking for a full time work. Also, my husband is the joint sponsor when I filled the Affidavit of Support. What do you think is the best answer to this question? a precise but straight to the point answer if possible. Thanks

Answer the truth: "My daughter is currently unemployed, but hopes to have another job soon- she just had an interview last week for an X position. Fortunately, her husband makes a good income as a Y, he makes Z salary."

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
