hello everyone, hope u guys are doing fine.. i have questions regarding the affidavit from at least two people, can we use my wife's cousin?

here's another question. from PART 1. (information about you, the conditional Resident) "#16.a. In care of name" (i'm so confused! if their asking my name, or the apartment name) it's right below the Physical address, so i assume its the apartment name. thanks for help!!

Yes, your wife's cousin is fine for the affidavit. They expect you to have ones from your friends and family.

Leave the "In Care Of" blank. Unless you cannot receive mail directly (for example, usually a P.O. Box has only one person's name on it and other people cannot have their mail delivered to it), there is no reason for you to worry about this line on the form.

Good luck! :)

I'd like to know the answer on this question as well. I re-read the i-751 instructions and nowhere did it say anything about US citizen children. The instructions on the form itself said "LIST ALL CHILDREN" so I put my son's info although he is a USC. Whoops! Hope that doesn't cause any problems (yikes). Can anyone shed light on this?

Yes, list ALL your children, as it states. If the child is a USC, then put N/A for the A#(you will have to write that in by hand). There is a box to check asking if the child is applying with you. Check 'No'.

I do not think it will matter at all. Affidavits are optional and are suppose to be from those that can attest to you having a legitimate marriage. They do not have to be a USC.
