We recently moved to Phoenix in the last 2 months and my wife is looking for filipina friends especially those that speak Bisaya. She is from Mindanao and does enjoy speaking that as opposed to just Tagalog.

She is very friendly and would like to find some new friends. Does anyone know any Fil-Am groups in Phoenix that may have events ?

There are a TON of Filipinas in Phoenix, we were visiting with a bunch over the weekend when up there for a b-party, and I am sure there are a fair number that speak Bisaya.

I would suggest checking out any of the Asian markets there.

The Philippine consulate does their outreach program at Halo-Halo Kitchen over on Dunlap Ave.

to the OP, lots of filipino/filipinas in the metro phx area. check out the resto that Hank suggested, you and your wife will sure meet people over there. also, if she happens to be catholic, there's a filipino mass every sunday at 5 pm over at Our Lady of the Valley Parish Church. It's located at Greenway Rd and 32nd/33rd Avenue as i recall. it's near i-17.

I've been to Halo-Halo twice already. Yes, my car showed it was 111 outside on the drive home but "it's a dry heat" :) that's just dang hot anyway I look at it.

I'm sure we will meet some Filipinas the longer we are here and get out of the house.
