Well there is travel tax and there is an airport departure tax. The airport departure tax is 550 peso's and everyone has to pay this.

When I purchased my then fiancee her ticket on Delta, I used miles to pay for the ticket. The travel taxes were not included and she had to pay them prior to getting her seat assignment. Just make sure to show up early and the ticket agent will let you know if you need to pay this. You can see the desk where you pay the travel tax from the Delta ticket counter.

thank you guys for the anwering my question yes i know i need to pay for the terminal fee 550 php,,,, but i heard to the other they said i need to pay for travel tax 1,620 php.

i am not sure how this one would go, I travelled before via Cathay Pacific (online purchased ticket) I paid for the travel tax due to the ticket was purchased online that doesn't cover the Phil Tax. However, when I travelled via Delta Airline on the same year (purchased in Delta Office) I didn't pay for the travel tax because it was already included on my ticket.

Worse case scenario, have your fiance send you some cash to cover it. You'll also need money for some food at the airports if you get really hungry :)

I bought the ticket for my wife directly from Delta, and the travel tax was included. His receipt for the ticket should show there were taxes paid to the Philippines for the ticket. Much will depend on where and how the ticket ticket was paid for. But the idea of carrying some USA Dollars is a good one. You should have some money with you while you're traveling.

Travel tax? Are you talking the airport fee of 550 pesos or the exit fee for you fiancée of 1650 pesos?

Airport fee is always paid at the airport after checking in at the airlines.

The exit fee for immigrants is sometimes in the price of the airfare but most times only if the ticket is purchased in the Philippines. You will have to check your ticket receipt for what fees are listed.

The exit fee can be paid at the airport, there is a counter at the front of the terminal between the two luggage scanners, you pay this before checking in with the airlines.
