My NOA1 is dated March 20th 2013. I know most files gets transferred to local field office. Unlike others, I am able to track my case online with my MSC receipt number and it does not show any transfer as of yet. Well my question is if or when NBC transfers my file to a local field office will it show up online? Do they inform petitioners that file has been transferred?

Yes it will show up online. You will also be notified

by your mail. It might be called letter of notice

or something like that. Be calm and wait if it has been

transfered you will be notified.

I see your case was approved quick. Do you or did you live aboard when you applied?

Were you able to track your case online? If yes, so it didn't show that it was transferred?

nope

the only time I found my case online was when it was approved

I found out about the transfer by calling and speaking with an IO

to get accurate info about a transfer you have to call and speak with an IO

I have seen several cases here on vj that showed up online and were transferred without any notice

I already contacted an IO he said it is still with NBC. I read couple of post that IO sometimes lies about it not being transferred.

its not that they lie, they just don't always take the time to go through the half dozen screens that they need to in order to see things

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

03.21.2014 - IV bill showing PAID

03.24.2014 - Completed DS-260 online

03.29.2014 - Mailed IV Packet

04.26.2014 - IV packet all approved, false checklist from NVC for AOS packet

IO - immigration officer aka tier 2 aka supervisor
