My case was completed on Novermber 22nd. I am a Turkish citizen . NVC schedules the interview dates for Turkey, Albania, Canada, Philippines, Lebanon, UAE and the continent of Africa. Could anyone from these countries tell me their experiences about what happens after this point.

I was told that NVC schedules the interview dates on the second week of each month. Mine will be scheduled someday in between December 8th and 14th. And the interview date has to be at least 1 month ahead of the day of notice. But I can call the US embassy in Ankara and ask for a closer date.

DO i need to know anything further or i am mistaken about anything above?

Please help

thnx

One more question.

should I go ahead and have my medical exam done? for how long is the medical exam report valid? seems like I will have my interview in late january or february.

Will I need anything other than the medical exam reports? NVC already have the originals of birth , marriage certificates, police report.

Substance,

I have the same questions as you. I sent in my DS230 last week and waiting on NVC. I had asked the same question on this forum last time, some answered that the NVC schedules the interview for the K3 others said you have to schedule yourself.

So please anyone went through, Turkey, Albania, Canada, Philippines, Lebanon, UAE and the continent of Africa with K3, can you advice us as to who schedules interviews. Is it the NVC or you have to contact the embassy....

i'm pretty sure either the NVC or the embassy will schedule the interview. also, many have said that interviews are scheduled the second week of every month. i'm hoping to be notified about the interview next month but am skeptic since 2 other members - jazzy and JunCel - have had their NVC approved since october and no interview dates yet. though they are both philippines as i am myself. so it may be different for you. good luck

i called nvc today. the lady said NVC schedules interview dates on the second week of each month but they can not guarantee which month urs will be scheduled:) The number of interviews per month is limited , they call the embassy and ask for the available dates, according to that info they schedule an interview date for each case.

NVC will not schedule a date in the same month even if there are dates available . you have to be notified 1 month advance so it has to be the next month the earliest.

Substance,

I heard the same thing from NVC yesterday. They have to give atleast a month for someone to make adjustments (if required) and going through medical - it's not a law or something concrete but its their norm.

we are hoping to have the interview date for mid January 07... hoping Montreal Embassy has no backlog :)
