good day to you all,just want to ask anybody here who have successfully done there process of fiancee visa,just a little bit worry about my KI visa,which we hired a lawyer to assist as in the process,due to my bf is quite busy at work,and whils i am also busy with my studies,so we agree to just intrust the process to the lawyer,my questions goes like this,i have already filled my KI visa last first week of OCT.and how would we know our application is received in the NVC,or do we received a notice that our application is already on filled?we are both innocent in this process so hoping you gurls can tell me some of the information,what to do about this things do we need to wait for a couple of months before we received a notice,i am worry about this because my bf is so excited for my interview that it will not too long to wait,pls my dear sisters and brothers plz dont be hesitate to tell me what are the better thyings to do to my situitions,i ask you about this thing for i read some of the topics in here that they usually received a nitice upon receiving the appilications from the NVC,but in my case we did not receive any?do i need to ask the lawyer about not receiving a notice?hoping for your advice and i am happy to hear from you...god bless...

K1 -visa:Timeline

6/26/08:resent the 1-129f package to VSC

8/21/08:received NOA1 in the mail,yeyeyeh i was relief after the long period of waiting

1/28/09:NOA2 received ...in 161 days from NOA1

2/10/09:received appointment letter from USEM

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]

07/08/09:sent the 1-485 forms for adjustment of status package to chicago (USPS)..Day 1

07/10/09:arrived USCIS,chicago...(when i checked the USPS post office)...Day 3

07/12/09:check cashed...Day 5

07/15/09:noa1 date for (AOS,AED,AP)i thanks god for everything...(date arrived,07/20/09)...Day 10

08/12/09:calling USCIS to check the bio apt...Day 35

08/25/09:bio notice date issued...Day 48

08/29/09:bio notice received.(thank u so much mama mary...)...Day 52

09/04/09:AP arrived in the mail (date issued 08/27/09)

09/09/09:biometrics done...

09/17/09:EAD = card arrived today...so happy...

10/03/09:interview notice received

11/05/09:AOS -- interview approved (thank u mama mary)...

11/16/09: GREEN CARD arrived today...

Not sure I understand what it is that you are asking. Are you saying that you have already filed your petition? Semms like you have retained an attorney to handle the case for you; if that is so then the NOA1

(Notice of Action) will be sent to him I believe. Also on this site there are Guides that will help you through the process

Have you got approval on the I-129F yet at the service center? Your lawyer would of been sent the NOA2, that being the case. After approval it then takes a few weeks to reach the NVC.
