Reentry into US with an expired visa, but current i-20 and AOS application in process

oh this website has been so much help. and I need more of it. So, here's my scenario.

- My F-1 student visa has already expired.

- However, I'm in-status with regards to i-20 (which is good till jan 27, 2014).

- I'm on OPT and actually working right now.

- We got married in march. My wife is american.

- We want to visit home (India) to have a ceremony in honor of us newly weds and also to see my dad as he had heart attack this week.

- We're planning on making the trip in December.

I'm done with all the applications and hope to turn them in by early next week. so, my question is- will i be able to enter back in to the US with an expired visa, but current i-20 and AOS application in process, if my advance parole application is approved?

The expired visa will be irrelevant. If your I-485 has not been adjudicated by December (unlikely, but possible) then you can travel internationally using AP.

Day 376 (1/14/19) Interview

Day 385 (1/23/19) Denied

Day 400 (2/7/19) Denial revoked; N-400 approved; oath ceremony set for 2/14/19

Day 407 (2/14/19) Oath ceremony in Dallas, TX
