Have they slowed down on approving EADs or what? I mean most pple get their EAD like a few days b4 the interview. Since they recieved my application in Oct. my EAD had not been touched for a while?! I know we had to mail in the RFE but its been a week already. Is it because it around holiday time. They r maybe shopping.:crying::crying::crying: I need a touch

I thought the EADs are taking 80+ days to be approved ... That would put you around the end of December beginning of January wouldn't it ?? My AOS was approved from CSC before I had one touch on my EAD (except for the touch after my biometrics) ...

An RFE will halt processing of interim benefits until the response is processed.

Aye, that it will. We filed July 17, got NOA1 on July 31...EAD wasn't approved until late October (all this is in our timeline in my sig). Once they got the RFE info, they resumed processing the EAD so that it fell within the 90 day period. Not everyone is this fortunate though.

Wish we all had a magic crystal to help us "see" how long these things will take. ;)

Come back and cry when you're >90 days from filing your EAD. From your timeline you have nothing to complain about. I know waiting is hard, but when the statistics on this site say EADs take average 80 days, it means 80 days. Your RFE clearly doesn't help either.
