Problems in new AOS form:

1) How do you type in the principle immigrant's address? They only give 1 line, and you can't use a dash character to separate floor/apt. no such as 08-44 or 03/33. Also, you can't type in the full address given they only give you one line for the street *and* the condo name, etc.

2) "Vietnam" is missing from the list of countries in the 'drop-down' control on the form - should I leave this blank and just print the form out and then manually write in Vietnam? Or should I select "Unlisted"? Seems like a bug to forget Vietnam when Cambodia, Laos and Thailand are in the list.

3) Would it be OK to partially fill out the form, then 'print to pdf' and manually type in the fieds such as address & country to correctly reflect the actual address and country?

Anybody else experiencing these problems and have solutions?

Thanks & much appreciated.

Either type in the entire form, or handwrite the entire form.

If you are unable to fit addresses, I would print out of form and neatly handwrite it.

Before you send off that new AOS form you might want to read the several other post about that new form. It is causing a lot of problems I hear.

Here is one post talking about how all AOS using this new form are being put on hold and you will wait longer.

To answer your question number 2:

Vietnam is no the "Official" name and that is why you do not see it listed as Vietnam. It is listed as:

Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Bob
