DS 160 is that required for the K1 visa applicatn?

Welcome to the forum. As long as Merton manang MNL p pwd manang mgbayad sa BPI for fiancée visa Fee, dalhin mo Lang yong letter mo na may MNL. Sis, don't forget the receipt kasi isa yan sa tilting an during interview sa USEM. Ok, now after you get paid for that fee. Pwd manang tumawag for scheduling. Tandaan sis, dapat may allocation ka one week prior to your interview sa USEM. Dapat Yang 1 week na Pagitan nakapasa medical exam kana St Luke's. 2-3 days Lang naman ang medical exam.

K1 applicants are not required to complete DS-160 but use DS-156 instead (don't need this prior to scheduling interview, bring it to the interview)

For most embassies DS-160 is not required for K1 applicants. The one major exception that I know of is Montreal, Canada where they also require the DS-160.

I dont understand this DS-160... what is this for? pls help me.. is this required like me a K1 applicant?

Not used at the Manila embassy. Follow the link you were given to the embassy instructions letter for all that is required.
