Hello,

This is our first post. This website was a great help when I applied for my wife's K1 visa 5 years ago.

Now, we would like to have her mother and nephew from China visit us in the US. We were going to try to get them B-2 visa.

Our question is about preparing and submitting the DS-160 form. From my review, it looks like her mother is supposed to complete this online. Our concern we have is that her mother does not know english and has very limited computer skills. Her nephew is a small child also.

Please provide any suggestions.

My wife and I are attempting the same process with her mom and brother. You can complete most of the DS-160 on their behalf on your own computer here in the States. They'll have to find a computer in China so that when you're done with the forms, they can retrieve the form and then hit the submit button. They'll need someone who can use a computer and read at least a little English, though.
