Does the uscis keep older petition on file?

I filed for my ex in 2007 and Im not sure about the dates of approval etc......when my ex left he took everything all notices, forms, marriage cert pics etc.

was wondering what number to call and ask if they have that information.

I would suggest you make an appointment with your local USCIS office. If you can prove you have a legitimate need and right to the information in your previous filing...they are very likely to share with you what they can find in their computer...or tell you what can be obtained for you...if anything. I had a similar situation once...and they DID share some old info with me...but I do not know how extensive of info they had access to.

Yes USCIS keeps all that information. Call the USCIS # and since you are the Petitioner of that case the information should be given to you.

But you don't have to be exact about past petitions dear. many say like filed 2007. So I wouldn't stress to much if you don't know the exact time place and receipt# its more about now not than. But do call USCIS to get fast results.
