Quick question....

I have decided to semi-start the I-130 process (still waiting on marriage license to be translated). As I was filling it out I came to part D question 2 it asks if I have filed another petition for another alien, I answered yes, then it asks the name the place and filing result. I can give the name, I am confused about the place would I put the VSC, or the consulate in Mexico?? Also since at the time my ex-fiance and I got something about an appeal because he had a felony and since we were no longer together I didn't do anything but call USCIS and told them that we weren't together anymore and that I wanted to cancel my petition that was over 3 yrs ago. They said that as long as nothing else was done then I would be fine. Is that true and if so how do I answer the filing result question??

Thanks guys! Best wishes on your journeys!

The place would be the service center so if vermont, then yes VSC would be fine. For the outcome, i would just write "petition canceled by petitioner at USCIS prior adjudication". The time lag between the last and current petition is good.

Best wishes.
