I'm confused!!!! I checked my case status today and saw this .... But I didn't even change my name? What is this :( I'm confused && scared :(

On April 18, 2014, your name was updated relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Look at my timeline Sam, I got the same message as your and I never change my name. My approval came on next day, your maybe next Monday because today is the last day of the week. If you don't have approval today, believe me, next week is your

On April 17, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Ur 130 didn't get approved yet right? Then what's the interview for?

That's exactly what I am saying I am in usa i130 didn't approve yet but immigration officer said they may or may not set the interview with me first which is very unusual!

It happens from time to time for USCIS to schedule an interview prior to the approval of I-130.

I've seen it couple of times here in VJ, but I have no idea about the way it went or what happened later about it.

Anyway, I wish good luck and hope you'll get your approval soon inchaa Allah
