Hey,

We have our interview next Wednesday. As far as evidence goes we have joint tax returns, health insurance, lease, joint bank statements and pictures. I am the beneficiary and my wife moved in with me after we got married.

Now we have a roommate and before the marriage the bills were on my name. I never added my wife because well we don't live alone at the moment and I didn't see the need. Can I still go with the electric bill as evidence even though she is not on it?

Thanks

If it doesn't have both names on it, it doesn't show co-mingling of finances or lives. Its not useful.

Anything with joint names will be fine, I think from the list u indicated its looking fine, please take pictures with u, and since ur wife is d one that moved into ur apartment I think any utility bill in your name only will b meaningless, will be a bit better if it was in your wife name because she must have resided in the apartment to b receiving utility bill

I agree with inky

Ok thank you so much. It's just I spoke to someone yesterday and they were giving me the impression that it was super bad that we didn't have both our names on the utilities.

Most utility bills do not come with both names on it anyways. Only one of ours appears with both names on it, even tho both our names are on all accounts.

The things in bold are important and should be enough. Good Luck!
