Guys, great news! We just learned from the NVC call center that our case was sent yesterday to the embassy in Lima.

Yay... I feel so relieved now.

Congrats!!

Now that you have your case number from the NVC, are you able to schedule your interview in Lima? or do you have to wait until they receive your case and send out the packet? As my fiance will also be interviewing at the Lima consulate we are really anxious to find out if he can call to schedule the interview when we receive the NVC case number!!

Mucha suerte!!

No problem....exactly call uscis first askfor tier 2. And as u know its long wait for tier 2 but its worth it. Ask tier 2 when did they send ur case to nvc? Andif she/he said sorry we have no idea thn just ask for service request to find where ur case is? ? :) good luck on everything because I know its so hard to wait. I waited 37 days until I got my nvc case number.

Thank you, Laurabeth. And congratulations on your NOA2!

We've been advised to wait for the US Embassy to contact us, but it is possible to call them or email them -once you know your case number and after the NVC has sent your file- in case you don't hear from them. As far as I know, they are very diligent and responsive. Either way, the US Embassy will determine the interview date and let you know shortly after. With their letter in hand you may schedule the medical exam.

We are waiting a few days before taking any other action. I am growing anxious, of course, but I am trying to remain patient. We know it is gonna happen soon; it is just a matter of days.

Suerte :)

After calling NVC everyday for the past week we got our embassy case number!! It actually took me off guard when she asked for beneficiary name and birthday and my name and bday.. I had gotten used to the "no, that case number is not in our system" response!! Moving along!!

Wow this thread has grown! Haven't posted in a while but I've got great news.. we got our case number on monday the 6th! I've actually been away for work training and so my lovely fiancee took over the task of calling NVC daily from the Philippines. On monday in between my training she called me and told me the good news! And to top it off, by wednesday evening she already had an interview appointment.. despite our case still not yet arriving at the USEM. That's just how awesome my mahal is! dancin5hr.gif

To those who are still waiting.. hang in there! Took us almost 3 weeks from our NOA2 before we got our case number.
