I use an iPad 2 for 99% of my Vj posting. What I don't find when I reply in this new version, is the editor for bold, indent, bullets, font size/colors. I tend to use those often and it's kinda messing me up. I did clear the cache as suggested by the Ewok in a post about the coming upgrades. The smilies are gone too.

I went to my desktop computer and the editor is fine. So does anybody using an iPad see the same change in the posting functionality? Can anybody explain why it no longer works? I am not using a mobile version to my knowledge. I don't even know if there is a mobile version of VJ. If there is, could I have been automatically put in it with the upgrade?

Your ideas about the edit functions appreciated.

I have just picked up my iPad and I see what you mean. I also clicked into the mobile version (bottom left of the page) but that is the same but in addition I could not see your original post so could not check back on your questions/comments. Apart from letting you know that it's not just you I can't be of much help I'm afraid. :( - no smilies!

Thanks Cathy for the reply and for pointing out there is a mobile version. I got an answer from the Captain.

Looks like there is no way to get it back on the mobile version as it uses flash/javascript which the ipad doesn't support. :(

In a future upgrade I know it may be coming. Sorry for now.

I was wondering if it was a Flash thing. Thanks for the info Captain. Good to have an answer so I can quit searching for some setting I missed.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Or give up VJ for lent even? Maybe both and go help kittens at a shelter instead.

Or use one of our laptops? So many choices....
