Everyone:

I know this must be the dumbest question ever but i am stil gong to ask to be sure.

In the letter of intent, if you put the dallas address as the filing address, do you then just remove this parts below from the form since you are not submitting the form for interview yet?

or when submitting for interview

United States Department of State

United States Consulate, [name of country where Embassy is located]

[Embassy Address]

So the next part after the Dallas, TX address is going to be the

(Date mm-dd-yyyy)

So the whole form will just look like this below?

Fiancé Letter of Intent

[PETITIONER’S OR BENEFICIARY’S NAME]

[PETITIONER’S OR BENEFICIARY’S ADDRESS]

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

USCIS

P.O. Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

(Date mm-dd-yyyy)

Dear Sir or Madam:

I, (applicant’s or beneficiary’s name), do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry (petitioner’s or beneficiary’s name), and intend to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

Yours truly,

(Signature)

(Print name)

I really appreciate any assistance here.

The address is not important...you can even leave it out if you want. What IS important is that you state and affirm you are legally able and willing to marry within 90 days of arrival to the US. You don't need to write anything fancy so that it's in 'your own words'...just follow the example form and you will be just fine. In fact what you have is perfect.

Just want to mention one little detail: In the address part, there is no need to write USCIS under U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (its kind of redundant to write it twice).

What others are saying is true, the address isn't important on the letter, it's merely standard professional letter etiquette. The important thing is to include that you are free and intend to marry within the 90 days and that you sign it and be sure to send in both ORIGINALS and of course make copies for your records

We wrote totally the same thing. For my fiance, we even made a mistake stating '...90 days of my arrival' which should have been '...90 days of her arrival'lol and we called them and told them that we made a mistake but then they sent us a letter stating that we don't have to send them a correct sheet. like that, They don't care as long as you both submit the letters saying you are intent to marry. After 5 month, we got approved! Don't worry too much. You can copy the guide :)
