Hello, This is Javier from Spain, i came here 2 months ago for vacations and i met the love of my life, by chances of life, i met her at a club the first night i went out here in LA and we havent seperated since then, im living with her, I came here using the VWP, this was totally unexpected, if this would have happened to me in Spain maybe i would not marry in 2 months, but i really fell in love, and we think if we want to be together this is the only option , and she has a great job here, and i had a bad one in Spain, and economy in spain sucks, so i cant make her leave the USA and come to my country which is a total mess right now....

This is the complicated part, we just want to go to Vegas and fill before the 3rd month, we wont do any ceremony or party (we dont even care about it honestly, she doenst have family, both of her parents died, and only has a sister in sacramento), so we wont have any proof of that, just the certificate, no party, no invitations, no guests...

and my #1 worry is that she did this already with a guy from Costa Rica years ago, in 1999 and got divorced in 2002, the guy was an ilegal immigrant at the time of the marriage ( i dont want to ask her much about it), and i think the chances that a person gets married twice with a foreigner are so slim...

We wont have many proofs either, but pics and some affidavits from friends and her sister, she cant modify the lease, and she cant add me to her health insurance until i get the SSN with the employment authorization card.

I really dont know what to do, im super scared, worried and stressed, at the same time i dont want to leave her, i love her, it has been a long time since i havent been this happier...

But i keep reading horrible stories on here, and this marrying a foreigner for the 2nd time doesnt look good at all.

Thank in advance!

Javier

*** Moving from AOS from Family Visa to AOS from TOurist Visa as OP came on the visa waiver ****

You should be ok. The previous marriage was a long time ago. You won't have much proof of bonafide marriage, but that happens when you marry quickly. By the time you have your interview, several months down the line, you will hopefully have more proof such as joint bank account, joint bills etc.

Thank you Sethless, also, does anybody know if applying few times for the DV lottery will have any bad impact? i asked this to a lawyer and he said that wont appear in my "records", because many people apply for the lottery, with fake information, or anybody could apply with the info of someone else, so they dont take Dv Lottery entries seriously

It shouldn't hurt you, no. If they ask you, tell the truth that you applied for the lottery, but otherwise you don't even need to bring it up.
