Last week my husbn sent the I-130 form to the Chicago Lockbox, and today I received an email stating it had been forwarded to the National Benefits Center, when I try to see what are ther timelines for processing this kind of requests it I-130 is not in the list. Should I assume there has been an error? what should I do?

Help please!

No error, this is normal processing. The processing dates are not very up to date and do not really reflect reality that much. Expect your case to be transferred to your local office in several weeks, and from there back to the NBC for checks and forwarding to the National Visa Center.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

Not an error; your file will either remain at the National Benefits Center or it will be forwarded from there to a field office for adjudication. This has been happening since August.

after 45 days call uscis to find out where your file is located. as the others said it will probably go to your local office... at around 60 day mark, get an infopass to check up on it.. you will only find out about your offices current stats here http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=81&charttype=1 use the drop down and find the local office near you. always make sure you have confirmed your case is there first as there is someone here who had their case transferred to an office that was not near them.. but rare

good luck

The process isn't delayed, it is proceeding normally. It doesn't matter that you can't check online case status for a while. I found out that my case had been worked on (transferred to my local office) even before I could see its online case status.
