Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa

Center (NVC) contacted U.S. Citizenship

and Immigration Service (USCIS) to

locate your approved petition. USCIS has

informed the NVC, that your petition will

be en route to the NVC shortly. Please

allow ample time for file transfer. Once

we have received your petition, the

appropriate agent will receive further

instructions within 6 to 8 weeks.

Allan-nhez, I know you've contacted your Congresscritter and I'm not sure what else to say. Keep after USCIS and demand from an ISO (Tier 2) that they tell you when the file has left the building. Have you also scheduled an InfoPass with your local office?

that is NVCs notice that they are doing research to find the case.

That's it, that's all.

although USCIS claims it's 'en route' , nothing matters till the casefile gets opened at NVC and the USCitizen Petitioner has a great phone call with a NVC TeleOperator (getting the MNL casefile # and IIN over the phone)

so.

let's assume for the moment that USCIS actually sent the file.

Check back in 2 weeks, calling on 3 May 2013 circa 15:00 EST.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
