I got the standard "they're working on July 18th...you're within the processing time". They even

At this time your constituent’s case was received on December 03, 2012 and is within the processing time frame. We are currently processing cases received on

July 18, 2012 or earlier.

My case was received by USCIS CSC on October 1st. Idiots.

Is there anything I can send to my senator's aide from this site that proves different?

Could you fax or email your Senator's aid a copy of your NOA1 with the October 1st date?

One thing to remember is that Igor's list is not an offical list. It is based on people updating their timelines. Our peition took 6 months and even though we were seeing others after us getting approved, each case is different. I did have to get my sentors office involved and said that they had to wait to the 6 month mark. They called USCIC at the 6 month mark(processing times were 5 months then, but when we called at 5.5 months, was told USCIC did not count the 1/2 months, so to them 5.5 months was still 5 months) and the very next day our approval came through.

I was told by USCIS when I questioned others getting approved that it also depends on who is working on your case. Some will take their time, some work faster. Some of the staff once they finish what was assigned to them, will go to someone elses desk to see if they can take older cases to work on and some will just take a newer case and this could account for the newer cases reciving approval before yours.

Be patient, the waiting does seem like it is forever, but once your love is here, the wait will seem like it was nothing. We had a longer wait even still once Ahmed had his interview, as it went into AP, even though he was told he was approved at the interview.

Well I have written my two state Senators to no avail, also my Congressman, and several out of state Officials. The good news is that they have actually processed some July and even September petitions that last few days at CSC. Unsure if this means that the activity will continue.

Sometimes you have to write not only to your senator, but also your congressman. In my case, I wrote to both and had congressional inquires put in from both offices, I don't know if it helped or not but soon after I saw some movement on my case. A word of caution though, the represenative in the office that you choose will sometimes have no clue as to the immigration laws or processing times of the USCIS or NBC. Be extremely patient with the person that you are communicating with and just explain your story with as many facts as you can gather.
