Timeline

Couple of questons that I`m sure have been answered before, but I just want to be sure here and now.

1. We`ve paid $380 IV bill to the NVC. When we got info package from the embassy, it said that "You need to pay $380 for your visa at the embassy", no "unless you paid it to NVC" or anything like that.

I am pretty sure we wouldn`t have to pay it again, but just trying to make absolutely sure.

2. About 125% poverty level for the I-864. Is that your total income (line 22 on your 1040) or your Adjusted Gross Income (line 37 on your 1040)? `Cause there`s a difference, that is essencial for me.

06/03/2008 Check Cleared

07/08/2008 INFOPASS (I-551 stamp)

07/08/2008 Driver's License renewed

04/20/2009 Lifting of Conditions approved

04/28/2009 Card received in the mail

It is the standard Embassy instruction letter. So you won't pay $380.00 again as the letter said you don't need to pay this fee, if your agent has already paid it to NVC. The Embassy will not ask you anything about this fee.

It is your total income from line 22 on your 1040.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
