Hello,

I am a K1 visa holder preparing my AOS package. My I-94 stub is stapled into the back of my passport. The front is completed but the back is blank. Can someone please confirm that this is correct? I am assuming the back would only be completed if I were to depart from the US? And at this time it would be left with US immigration at my departing airport?

Also, the A# is the number at the bottom left of my K1 visa (it starts with "A" and is followed by nine digits)?

Thanks in advance. I'm double checking everything in an effort not to make any errors! :)

Check your NOA2 I-129F approval notice for the A#. Be sure it is the same as the one on your visa. Sometimes they do not put the A# on the visa, or it doesn't match the one on the NOA2. Trust the one on the NOA2 if they are different.

You would not have filled out the back, but make a copy of the front and back for the AOS forms.

I think some POE guys scribble on the backs of the I-94s and some don't. Some staple them in the passport, some don't, and some forget to give them back even. Yours will be fine. It's okay to unstaple it if you want to.

Agree with getting your A# from the NOA2.
