Hello to everyone,

I have a question about the assembly of my AOS package. If I am submitting my package with the I-485, I-765 (EAD), I-864, and the I-131 (AP), do I have to submit the supporting documents with each individual form?

What I mean by that is the form I-485 requires copies of the visa, birth certificate, I-94 etc. The I-765 also requires a copy of the visa and the I-94. Do I have to submit more than one copy of the visa and the others for each form? Should I create one full package for the I-485 and then a separate package for the I-765 and then one for the I-864 and the I-131?

Yes each form needs supporting documents. The 485,131 and 765 are all split up and processed separately. They need their own documents and photos. Follow the instructions for each of the forms. The 864 is part of the 485 package.

The only thing is you mail them all together in the same envelope.

I only sent one set of copies and they never said anything :-/ I did it because I didn't read the instructions carefully, but if I could do it again, I would send a set of copies for each form. Form I 864 is part of I 485 so they need to go together. Avoid RFE's by taking your time to read the instructions, trust me I got one and it sucks to see other people with EAD's and I'm still waiting :(
