Hello Amand!! I met you in K3 Visa Forum....I sent my EAD on the 19th January, our dates are similar since we applied for the I 130 and I 129 jajajaj!!

It says that My case was received on the 22 of january and date 27 january. On the 3th february i recieved my fingerprinters on the 22 of February, Notice date 1/31/2006.

On monday i could see my case on line after 1 month, because I couldn't check it on line before....It was touched on 26 and 28 not more...When they received my I129 and got a REF, my case was updated after 1 month and it didn't say that my petition was approved.

This is very weird, because If i check the timeline they are processing cases from November .

Regards,

karim!!

My first Notice Date was on the 27th January!!

Amanda a question.....why are you applying for the EAD? I remember that you told me few months ago that you were going to London for the CR1....when you get your conditional Visa, you can go to any security office and get your social security number and work here.

Let me know please, maybe I am wrong.

Yes your right, I applied for EAD as i didnt know how long i would be here, so i sent it in the hope that it might get approved & i could start my working life...........but as it's all worked out, the CR1 interview arrived faster than i expected, & the EAD took longer than expected, so i will not bother with the EAD now as i am expecting a date any time now!!...................i'll just think of this as a looooong holiday in the cold........ahahahaha

moral to this story is....if you dont bet, you can't win!!........so i dont feel like i have wasted the EAD cash, although i coulda had nice new clothes for my interview :P:lol:

Jajajajajaja!!! I agree with you!!! Tell you that My case was touched yesterday and updated today, but it hasn't been approved yet.....Last year my case was approved and they didn't update it....It is a bit weird....One lady who had her biometrics on the 22 of February had her EAD approved last week when my case was touched...So You will be fine you can't know how long the process takes. I see that for K1 takes about 8 months for the AOS approval others 2 months....really I don't understand it.

I didn't know what to do or where i start, but I sent my EAD after 2 months since I moved here and I had a RFE for my I 130 and we didn't find the letter wowwwwwww! finally it was approved at the end of December jajaja!!
