Hi! I am filing the N-400 application tomorrow, based on 5 years (divorced).

Here are some last minute questions that maybe someone can help me with. :)

1. Is it okay to leave some questions blank or should I write "N/A" under all questions even if they don't apply to me?

2. Under section 4.B, the instructions say that I should write "SAME" if my address is the same as above, where do I write that? Under "care of" or under "Mailing address"?

3. Is it possible to get a money order for $680 (I've heard the maximum is $500)?

4. (This might be a strange question) I never use my checks so I only have my "starter checks" which means that my address is not written on the check, is that going to be a problem if I decide to send a check instead of money order?

Thank you! This is a great site so I am sure someone can provide me with some good info. :)

I hope it's not too late. Never write on the back of any check unless the check is payable to you, which obviously isn't the case here. If the check is payable to you, your signature must go above the "do not write below this line" line. If you write anything below it, the bank won't be able to process the check and will treat it as a bad check.

Your starter checks are good enough. Write your name & address where the address is usually printed, and put your case number in the Memo field.

Write N/A if something doesn't apply to you. I wrote "SAME" under "Mailing Address" but I don't think it'll cause a problem either way.
