It is a little confusing I see that there are a lot of bills for this proess and I have been reviewing the website and I do not clearly understand it please tell me how much everything was and the price of each and also the time that it took to get it and return it. (If there is a time requirement.) This process seems long and expensive, please assist. I am considering getting married next year.

What the total price will be is hard to say.. you don't give alot of information... but it is not cheap.. expect to pay about $2000 for just the paperwork alone. Add in more for flights and expenses to her and maybe you to travel to the embassy for the interview, her country and to bring your fiancee here and moving...

The IV (Immigration Visa) Fee bill is US$380. That is the payment for the visa. Once you pay that, they will send you the Instruction package (packet 3 for K-visas) with the DS-230 part I form and the instructions about Police Certificates, vaccines, etc...

Sometimes when you get the Interview Package (Packet 4), they will tell you to pay US$380 for the visa. You DON'T have to pay for that again. Once you send the IV Fee Bill check to the NVC, you are set! I guess it's just standard procedure to ask for that payment. But if you paid it to the NVC, then you don't have to pay it again at the US Embassy/Consulate.

I hope this can clear things up!
