Help! VISA for our illegitimate child

Hi Kaye from the Philippines. My ex bf (who is now US Citizen and biological father of my daughter) we are back into each other arms after 3 years. He's planning to petition me and our illegitimate child born here in philippines 2008 ( he left us and my daughter who was then 2 months old.

My question is what kind of petiton can he file? am I eligible for K1 and K2 for our child? he have signed acknowledgement on my child birth cert as her father.

Either a fiancee visa, or you could get married in the Philippines. Either way, your child could be included, and it doesn't matter whether it is his, or not, as long as the child is yours.

but which visa is faster to process K1 or K3 visas?

K3 visa is obsolete, forget about it.

The K1 used to be faster, but now takes about the same time and is more expensive. However, the advantage of the K1 is that if you met in person in the last two years, he can file immediately- tomorrow- whereas for the CR-1 you'd need to meet again and get married first.
