Maybe I'm just looking for any reason to get my Fiance here faster but with the current tensions in the Koreas, I am wondering if that would qualify as a reason to expedite visas. It looks like it could become unsafe there very quickly. Or if a war were to break out would they expedite then? I called USCIS to ask I just got a generic answer. The woman just said my situation needs to criteria and I could put in the request if I wanted.

Following the way things are handled in other areas with active conflicts , they are only given if there is activity in the immediate ( within blocks) area. Once you file an expediate and if it gets denied then if things worsen it is harder to put in another request.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

If war or something breaks out, then USCIS will issue a statement about whether there will be automatic expedites (as they did for Haiti).

You can try it, but I'm not sure what evidence you can provide.
