Good Morning everyone.

I started a new thread about MaggieNOmar's interview this morning in Casa. See here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ic=42299&hl=

Any news on Hicham's interview?

My mantra for the day is "just get through today!" Hope everyone is having a great end to the week (or almost end).

ETA: I don't like it here this early int he morning. Where is everyone? I brought cookies and coffee

HI everybody. I just posted under embassy reviews about Othmans expericence at the consulate. Thank goodness he looked over my employment info that morning cuz the CO asked him a question we did not even think of. The CO wanted to know the name of the company I work for!!

They asked my then fiance about where I worked during his interview. Funny you mention this because after now being in the states for over 17 months and being married, my work sent an inventigator to ask questions about our immigration process yesterday. I don't know why it amazed me but it did. Hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday.

My daily coffee is made by french press, although I enjoy the occasional coffee brewed in an raqwa (ibrik). Love the dark roasts, and an Ethiopian harrar is always nice.

Know of any good bean sellers online?

ETA: My husband doesn't drink it. He will take a shot of my coffee and fill a cup with milk  He does make lots of mint tea which is nice too.

Wow, pumpkin spice spread sounds yummy. Is that something you buy at the store?

And MBP, where's the chocolate??? :D

Allah tries his chosen people through many hardships, but those who persevere through adversity, surrendering themselves before the will of Allah, shall be blessed with a superb reward.

-The Prophet Muhammad (SAW), as reported by Anas bin Malik

A time will come when the sky is torn apart; when the stars scatter, and the ocean drains away; and when the graves are tossed about, and laid open. At that time every man will be told what he has done, and what he has failed to do; and every woman will be told what she has done, and what she has failed to do.

My hubby is off on Wednesdays so I don't get much VJ time. I worked Wednesday and they kept me busy all day and when I got home we went out to dinner. I had my usual beef shwrama sandwich (what is the correct way to spell that?) After dinner we went to visit my daughter and her little family.

When is the next MENA slumber party?
