Hi everyone,

I m an international F-1 studnet and I got married with my whife (usc)9 months ago. I am applying for AOS soon.

I have a question related to the tax documents needed for the I-864 affidavit of support.

I ordered the transcripts from the IRS online and I already received them. Now I noticed that in the directions, they say you shouold use Form 4506-T to order the transcripts for the IRS.

I wanted to know if my online ordered transcripts are ok, or the are different then if I would have ordered them using Form 4506-T.

Thank you !

You can get transcripts using Form 4506-T (mailed or faxed in), by calling the transcript hotline number, by calling the IRS general number, or by using the online ordering tool. All are acceptable.

Welcome to the forum.

I have ordered my IRS tax transcripts online, received them, supplied them as evidence in support of my I-864. They were accepted with no problem or issues.

Good luck.

I can also add that I've ordered transcripts all of those ways...the form, by calling and online. The transcripts all look the same.

Moved from adjustment of status from family visas to adjustment of status from work student tourist as OP is clearly on a F-1 visa.
