  14. Call logs printed right from my cell phone. It shows several calls at the beginning, middle & end of every month since I returned from my visit in Argentina
  15. Screen shots of our skype conversations.
  16. Text log printed from my cell phone, there's not a lot there but it's something.
  17. Proof of engagement: Does a screen shot of my FB announcement count? He doesn't have a receipt for my ring, I could take a picture of it on me?

Am I missing anything? I don't have any new pictures of us together, I was there in January, applied in April and it's only September. (so not complaining)

So, my fiancée got a hold of USCIS customer service, it has been five months since our NOA1. The girl on the phone put in a request for a status update. They will contact us or we'll get something in the mail within 15 days ( how in the world does somebody come up with 15 days ... I'd say 14 days or maybe 10. Maybe that's just me though ). If not, we should contact them again.

Does anybody have a similar experience or know more about this? What can we expect? I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to dealing with USCIS form what I read about them on this forum on a daily basis ... not a lot of reasons to have trust in them at all

Apr 4 2013 - I129-F Received by USCIS (VSC)
Apr 10 2013 - NOA1
Jul 10 2013 - Case transferred to 'local office'

Jul 29 2013 - Address changed
Sep 10 2013 - Contacted USCIS customer service

It looks like youve got pretty much everything covered. However, to be on the safe side, I'd order your tax transcript from the IRS. That shows everything on your 1040, but also shows that you actually filed it. I'm assuming the PDF version you are referring to is from either your tax preparer or turbo tax.

Edited to say: don't forget the updated letter of intent to marry...signed and dated around interview time.

It's from H&R Block, and I don't know how long tax transcripts will take, but I'll order them now and if he needs them I'll ship them right quick.

WE ARE APPROVED!!! In fact, I don't know if the guy was purposely flashing it at me, but the papers were stamped approved before he even interviewed me. I will post my review right away here but.. Damn, what a morning. I left Surrey at 830 and didn't get to the consulate till 11. An hour after my appointment time. Thanks to an accident on the Fraser bridge that took over an hour to get past, then an additional half hour to get to the consulate from there, but they were really good, said that they were waiting for me upstairs, they waved me through, went through security and it was less than an hour in and out. I was so stressed about being late that I almost cried when the guard said go through. then the woman at counter B asked why I was so late and as soon as I mentioned accident and Fraser bridge she held up her hand and said ,"Say no more". Everyone was so friendly, questions were easy. They never even asked for any further evidence!

Good luck to everyone still to go.
