My husband and I have been waiting on his approval for adjustment of status. We went for biometrics in the middle of October. On November 8th I received an email stating that his application for AOS had been approved and a new card was being sent. There was another email stating that he would be receiving a welcome letter. Yesterday, Nov. 14th, I received another email stating again that his application for AOS/ permanent residency had been approved. Today my husband received his permanent residency card in the mail  ! We are very, very excited! One question though, weren't we suppose to have another interview before we received the Green Card? I am a little confused because i was waiting on a letter to tell us when to go for the final interview. Is everything Okay or does this sometimes happen?

May 2003- I met Carlos in Brazil on a mission trip.

17 Oct. 2005- I-129F sent to TSC.

Did you ever receive notice that your case has been transferred to CSC? CSC approves AOS without interview.

Congratulations!

We did get transfered to CSC. Now what do we do?

Nothing! You're done with USCIS for the next two years! Congratulations! :)

woo woo woo! You are done for two years...congratulations!:dance:

So after two years are completed what do we do? Do we receive a notice in the mail telling us what to do?

Read the guides for removing conditions. You will have to file for that 90 days before the expiration of your two-year green card.

No, you MUST file to remove the temporary conditions BEFORE the two years is up. They will not remind you!! You must remember to do it yourself. Read this page:
