Mailed I-130 to the Wrong/Old Lockbox

I mailed off my I-130 this past Monday. I have been tracking it and it is about to be delivered to the Lockbox today; however, this morning, I discovered the lockbox, to where I sent my packet, is the old lockbox number (804616). It seems the correct lockbox number is 804625.

I have checked online and found that in some places it is said your packet may get forwarded when the agency receiving it can forward it; otherwise, they will just reject it and return it to you.

I called the 1-800-375-5283 Customer Service number this morning and was told that it will be rejected if it is the wrong department, if they cannot forward it, but it will take ten days for anyone to even decide if it will be forwarded or rejected.

My actual questions are:

1. Does anyone know if because I sent my I-130 to the wrong lockbox:

a. If that lockbox (804616) is still even a valid box to accept the form

b. Will the packet be rejected or forwarded to the correct department

IMO, it'll get routed to the right department..

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
