After the NOA2

I received the NOA2 and the national visa center has informed me that my packet was being sent to Germany. What is the process now?? I already sent my fiance some of the info that he needs, what else do I need to send him? Do I receive anything else in the mail? Typically how long does this process take for the remainder of the approval?

Schedule the Medical which is good for 6 months and proceed to pay the Visa Fee. Then, schedule your interview. Good luck!

Your fiance will receive further instructions from the consulate in Frankfurt by mail. He needs to schedule for his medical (ask him to make sure that he has all necessary vaccinations done), and he will have to work through this list: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/frankfurt/9318/consular_pdf/Instructions%20for%20Fiancee%20Visa%20Applicants.pdf He can obtain a police certificate through his local Bürgerbüro or Einwohnermeldeamt.

You need to send him the Affidavit of Support documents if you haven't done so yet. You can also send him a new letter of intent, but according to the consulate, it is not really necessary unless your petition has expired and needs to be re-validated.

Your packet has already been sent to Germany, so from now on, everything should go pretty fast. You're almost there!
